Magic is in the air
Nothing says Christmas break like bad TV, playing with friends, and staying up until the sun rises and sleeping 'til it sets. There is something magical abut coming home. You see EVERY time my siblings and I come home we revert back to life as teenagers. It's great fun, especially since I've recently left my teenage years (almost 3 years ago to be exact) and thus the behavior isn't that abnormal for me. My favorite argument that gets replayed each Christmas... "that's it who stole the candy from my stocking?" and the always famous below the belt comment of "really you think thats a good life choice?" Nothing says family like a swift kick in the pants or in our case, your self esteem.

3:16 a.m. Come what may and Love it
I love Rexburg. I never thought I would ever love this place as much as I do.
I just finished writing a feature article for my PR writing class thats due in 8 hours. I started around 12:30 a.m. and wasn't even sure what to write about. I am grateful God has blessed me with an active mind.
Sad thing is, I'm not even tired now. I feel like I have as much if not more energy then I do in the middle of the day. I always seem more productive in the middle of the night. The older I get the less sleep I seem to want and need. My grandpa used to tell my mom "MaryAnn you can sleep when your dead." I loved his attitude. Sleep when you're dead. Work hard here and and enjoy your life. You'll have rest from your troubles when you leave this existence but until then enjoy it while it lasts.
